The Envy has taken off as a lower speed overstable putter and approch disc. If you are familiar with the Ion, the Envy is a touch slower, lower profile and more ovestable all without having a bead. And wow are these color combination easy on the eye.

And each one has its own picture!

1 review for Proton Envy

  1. Kevin Clyne (verified owner)

The proton plastic combined with the buttery smooth Envy is a sweet combo. The plastic is SUPER durable, so this has become by go-to straight shooter inside of 200 (approach backhands + forehands mainly). It holds a straight line at high speeds and starts to fade out a little bit when it slows down- its not super stable like a zone, and doesn’t work well for steep hyzers or anhyzers. I putt with envy’s, but I’ll only putt with this one if I need something to fight a crazy wind. I can also attest that this plastic is definitely more overstable than electron.

My proton envy has become my absolute favorite disc. If you’re looking for a straight mid / approach putter give this a try- at the very least it will last forever!
